The rating applies to this illustrated configuration at the selected occupancy. It is our interpretation of selected sauna principles, not an official Trumpkin grade, product review or measured comfort score.

Geometry has one main scoring home: bench height under heat comfort, heater provisions under löyly, air delivery under fresh air, and usable seating under space. Related effects are explained elsewhere without repeating the same deduction.

What the example assumes

New intake combinations remain unscored; drying pauses the bathing rating. Stone provision does not establish stone temperature or steam recovery. No actual temperatures, airflow, humidity, heating times or steam quality have been measured. Unspecified real products cannot inherit these scores.

ABOUT SAUNA ANATOMY

How a sauna works.

A visual companion for people buying, designing, building or improving a sauna—and anyone curious about good heat. This independent guide is not affiliated with Trumpkin or the manufacturers linked here.

The rooms are generic electric-sauna examples, not product replicas. Soft color fields and paths explain concepts. Warmth colors carry no measured temperatures. Steam is shown as a conceptual pulse after water reaches the stones; its animation time is not a prediction. Changing heater power selects a published heater reference and updates the room-range comparison. The illustrated casing stays the same; no air speed or heating time is calculated.

Heater specifications use Harvia’s listed European Virta models. The body is schematic; the stone top is an illustrative reference. A room-volume match is only one check: exact regional equipment, side clearances, electrical requirements and ventilation still need verification. Wood-fired saunas need their own ventilation design.
